I thought most leases. My current small trucking company leases them. They get the benefits of the truck warranty and fairly low monthly payments. Plus the trucks are not theirs or an asset they could be sued as something to sell as payments if they in trouble.
I worked for mega in salt lake City Utah back then just for example they even had a full time warranty guy from freightliner at their shop for any warranty repairs.

The new emissions trucks maybe leased more vs older pre emissions trucks because they are so expensive to repair when they get older. They don't hold up like they used to.
