I'm not quoting you on this because there is an error or not. I'm attempting, however, to try to make this as simple as possible. Trust me, simple is good. THIS FMCSA webpage has all that information in it and in a much simpler form. This is really simple too. The DOT/FMCSA has prohibited the things listed in this chart.


There are several of these prohibited substances that are allowed if a medical doctor prescribes them AND the medical examiner approves. The only other substances prohibited is ANY medication used to control seizures. EVERYTHING ELSE is on a case by case basis and this is up to the medical examiner.
