I was considering buying some video camera's to use on the road in case I needed to use it in court. What do you guys use? I'd prefer something wireless with a long battery life to keep it neat and out of the way.I was thinking of getting one for the dash and two for the mirror brackets.Any suggestions?

I don't know about the mirror brackets because those would also have to be weatherproof, but any truck stop has dash cams, and most are pretty comparable in quality.

Now packed away since he is running local, 2 C.B. radios ( the second we bought because the 1st had to be repaired), tablet & laptop, GPS & Rand McNally road atlas ( laminated version), 2 smart phones ( his and mine) and a Dash cam w/forward and 1 rear facing camera. ( plus a TV & x-box {which doubled as a dvd player} and satellite dish).

The C.B.'s were probably used the least, as some of the chatter was down right crude and annoying. I won't even go into all of why.

Our camera came in very useful btw when someone hit the old school Pete across from us and we were able to let the driver know and download the video to my laptop and then send to the policeman that came to take the report. From the phone call we got a couple months later, the Pete's driver got all of the damage done to his truck paid for.
The rear facing camera's clarity was actually pretty good and mounted with double sticky tape to the side mirror, though we also zip-tied it on as a precaution. We only had the type with one rear camera, if we had to do it again, we would buy one with two rear facing camera's. In a world where "truck drivers are always wrong", at least until you can prove your weren't.... a camera is a good tool to have.

I have a inexpensive dash cam. Runs on a loop.
I figure it paid for itself paid for itself, just in CYA.
Have capture a owner op mud bugger backing into truck across from me and driving off.
Numerous four wheeler antics, and probably just as many big trucks doing stupid things.
The Celadon driver that thought he was special. Couldn't get in line to exit like the rest of us. Had to rush to the front of the line. Then literally force the 4 wheeler off the road in front of me.
When I called him out of his actions he cussed me out. So that clip was forwarded to his safety dept.
The night video isn't great. But enough to see lane and what's in my Headlight beams.
In my mind it's cheap insurance.

You must be really old if you think a cooler or refrigerator is new technology....
