Do you guys ever cook in the truck stop showers?

I don't even like showering in truckstop showers

 

This all started when drivers started camping out in the middle lane,then it was the fuel island and now the showers.

 

A long long time ago another Morehouse driver and I were joking about parking at the fuel island and heading for the shower and maybe bring with a boom box and a sleeping bag , hang a do not disturb sign on the door , order a pizza etc etc .
We are getting there lol.

I just want to be the first to congratulate the OP for what could possibly be the post of the year ! You sir are a true trailblazer and you could onto somthing ?
Maybe a letter to Jimmy Haslam and Warren buffet would be in order to suggest a first of its kind douch and dine shower .

 

Imagine cooking chicken on the same sink that some 400 lb. Dry van driver just wiped some baby gravy across. Then a loved employee wiped it with a towel and called it good.

 

I’m honestly impressed. I mean, a bit uncourteous to those waiting on showers, but lugging a skillet into a shower to make bacon and eggs is awesome. I think your next step should be to make home made ice cream in someone’s reefer trailer.

It is creative. At some point, just DoorDashing some Cracker Barrel seems easier though
