I do. And I don’t feel embarrassed about parking 2-3 deep in non-spots anymore. There’s a parking epidemic now. So if I’m impeding the flow, sue me. There’s no parking! So might as well join in on the madness. Just close the curtains.
Do you park wherever you can at truckstops?

How dare you park in a non designated spot. How rude! See what us poor steering wheel holders have to put up with

What's really funny is when you park on the end of about 6 non-lined spaces and go to sleep and wake up and the 5 trucks next to you have left and you're sitting there out in the wide open space !All alone !

I am not blocking anyone or impeding traffic. But there are 4 trucks deep double parked everywhere. At least I’m not the worst of the bunch.

Seriously though as long as your not screwing up the flow personally I couldn't care less.
I think the ones that cry so much about it just haven't had to park creativity yet.
It was 20 years before the first time I had to. -
One of the Ohio rest areas on I80 outside Toledo... I pull in at the wee hours of the morning tired enough that I should have stopped a couple hours ago, but no parking. No parking here either, but the over length spots were full of 53's. I pull in lengthwise behind all of them feeling bad but willing to move after a couple hours of rest if someone asked me to..
Got up after a normal sleep and thee are 4 more trucks next to me lengthwise too. After that, I never felt bad from having to find a spot as long as it didn't block anyone in, or even make getting out harder.Lostmykey, Farmerbob1, UturnGirl and 3 others Thank this.
