    With the Cali dead line looming , seems like a lot of these threads are popping up about used 08-010 trucks.


    You may get some positive feedback , but not from me.....



    .My experience is all negative, so rather than jack your thread I'll just say get a "010" emissions truck.

    One owner I know his happiest day with three 2008 T800s were the days he sold them. All 07 Cats in them.

    You will be better of going with a DEF truck. Still has issues but fewer in my opinion

    Terrible years for trucks! I know I hate working on them. They've gotten alot better, go with DEF for sure.

    I've done nothing but talk to service managers, drivers and anyone with knowledge of newer trucks. They all say the 11 r better but don't rule out a 09-10 if they were taken care of. I can find good used 0c-10 for around 60-65 or newer start at 75. My 2 engine choices are isx or volvo D13 cause I want a bigger sleeper like on a volvo 730, 780 or kw 660 with a studio.
