If so, how long?
Also, how hard is it to get home time?
The site says every 3-4 weeks. Do they automatically route you there or do you have to beg?
Thanks guys and gals.
Does Tyson make you go out with a trainer if you only have 4 months of experience?

If it is anything like JBS I would not go OTR but the local jobs they have I would think are good . My uncle worked for JBS/Pilgrims , we'll both uncls, one worked OTR and the other worked locally . The OTR one would get home every three to four weeks but would be called back out, and the other uncle worked Monday thru Friday making good money . If you live close enough to Tyson for local I would say go local , if you work closes enough to JBS/Pilgrims then you could try them as well.
Rachav Thanks this. -
Oh @Chinatown can help you out

I don't know Tyson policy. They cut the trucks back to 62 mph.
Danny Herman Trucking, dry van, trucks run 68 mph, is ok for teams. The don't run northeast or New York City. From what I've found out they run a lot of the border towns all the way across Texas to California.
TWT Refrigerated Service pays teams .60 cpm and it's reefer.Last edited: Dec 14, 2016
