Flying J north of stockton On i5 and hwy 12. It's really the only option. It's a decent place too. Easy to find parking. Good food

    That would be Lodi, Ca.
Flying J, Loves and 3B’s all at that location.
Parking on a Sunday afternoon is going to be difficult there. Lots of people use it to stage for Bay Area runs.
Locals also clog up the place.

I strongly second this. You have Dick's Barbeque, Denny's, McDonald's, and Carl's Junior all right there. There is a Holiday Inn Express if you want to get out of the truck. Parking is plentiful, but best to score a good spot by mid afternoon.

Salinas and decent, in the same sentence really? It must have changed since I have been there.

A rest area for a 34 off, hmm, who would of thunk it.
The last time, maybe the only time I started a 34 off in Cali, I made about 2 hours and called the wife, and told her to expect me home in the morning. lol

I am taking it on the chin today on Salinas. Mea culpa darn it lol.

Maybe it's changed I don't know. I don't have too much love for the place after that botched Americold Lost week incident.

    Gutter and Lepton1 Thank this.
