Friends, lately, I've been having to wake drivers up to move off the drops so I can make my delivery.
I hate having to do that.
You need your rest, just like I do.
So, to prevent this, here's a photo of a fuel drop.
Usually, they're in a line, with one end downhill.
Trailer drops are on the right side, and I usually straddle 2 to speed up my drop. Please leave me(and all fuel drivers) access and escape routes so we don't have to disturb you.
Don't block fuel drops

And, if I see you in a position where I'll be blocking you from getting out, I'm happy to move to let you out before I start dropping... But once I start, I can't stop till it's completed.
Single hose, about 30 minutes. Double hose, 20 minutes.
Side note, if I move to let you out, don't fiddle around. We both want to get on with our day. -

The truck stop just south of my yard had one guy parked right next to them the other day, could not find the driver so the truck, trailer, and load were towed out of the place.

Situational awareness is rare these days.

Almost equally as annoying/stupid -- stores that don't mark the fuel drop area with bright yellow cross-hatched paint, and the requisite "NO PARKING" labels/signs.

I always wondered if fuel drivers had to play traffic control at some of these places.. I guess its no surprise that some drivers dont give a #### about anyone else.. Thanks for what you do fuel haulers
