Hell, I'm lucky to get that with a tail wind.

I was driving to Oklahoma with a 1 ton Duramax and a 48 foot Featherlite. The truck would not even go into overdrive. It was new to me so I just thought the weight was killing me. When I stopped for fuel I could barely get my door open it was so windy.

Funny........kindof what I feel like when I'm behind some ##*H*** that takes 13 miles to pass the truck that was only doing 63 compared to his sometimes 64......and NEITHER ##*H*** backs out to let the 13 miles of all kinds of vehicles get past them.

That’s what happens when companies put all that collision mitigation system s*** in and dial the trucks down at the same time to save money on insurance (and fuel).SMH

Some companies are actually giving you 30 minutes of extra MPH to get passing done. I think it's a good idea.

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Some do but it doesn’t help when that 30 minutes runs out-especially in hilly/mountainous terrain.

Yeah, well, better than nothing. Hills usually separate anyway, due to various loads and engines.
