Dont know why i didnt think if this

    Not long ago i went out and bout 20 copper wire lugs to make some bonding straps....God the cost hurt...
    So while surfing the net for a place that might sell a crimper i managed to come across this vid,yes im easily side tracked..
    A fella can save a small fortune makeing his own ends....

    put it in a vice (open end up) fill 1/3 the way with molten solder and cram the bonding strap in, cool

    Crimp then solder..Or solder part way,crimp then finish solder..

    Crimp then solder. Crimping the connector adds surface area, soldering is just binding it.

    the best connection is a bonded one and I don’t think you can do that. This is where the wire is actually melted into the connector.

    oh and are you guys using pure copper or copper plated aluminum wire?
