Silvicom, sounds good right? Or Wrong?
Fairly new trucks - automatics (nothing special though) governed at 69.5 MPH
They really don't run you hard; you'll be lucky to break $1100 / week take home.
They don't tell you until they fly you up to O'hare:
*They don't pay you the first 50 miles of every load you deadhead to..
*Paperwork has to be sent trip-pak on Thursday, or you don't get paid the following Friday
*When you go home, any miles from the point you unloaded at to your home; are deducted off you first pay check when you come back to work.
*When you resign, turn in truck and paperwork, they hold your last check for 45 days.
(Its been 50 days now and no paycheck for $1500 wages.
IF you want to work for this company ---- knock yourself out & good luck.

Well I was going to throw in my two cents. However, I agree with @Broke Down 69 . Let's leave it for @Lonesome . He loves these.
HalpinUout and Broke Down 69 Thank this. -
I see this company all the time on the Ohio Turnpike. Have yet to see one driver that isn't Eastern European.
HalpinUout Thanks this. -
Melrose Park +Eastern European = another Top Notch Chicago area company! White Volvo's?
Joetro, Justrucking2, HalpinUout and 4 others Thank this. -
Wow never seen deadhead use charged.
HalpinUout, Lonesome and Highway_Executive Thank this. -
-
I would never work for any company with that policy. -
They're called the "Volvo Mafia" for a reason. I see them advertising .65/mile on Craigslist now.
There are a couple of honest Lithuanian companies around Chicago, but as a general rule, it's best to stay away. (I've met 2 guys who run for companies like them, they basically are just renting the MC #, supplying insurance and collecting money.)Lonesome, Justrucking2 and HalpinUout Thank this. -
You see IL on anything, run. Enough said.
