So i passed the test for the DOT Medical Card and then AFC Urgent Care(who was doing the physical) said they needed a letter from my Doctor saying that I'm safe to drive in a DOT Capacity.
So I told my doctor and she said that she doesn't do that and she wouldn't write a letter for anyone. So now I have to find a new doctor. Do any of you know of a Doctor that will write those letters?

What? Your medical card shows your care to drive… even long form you gotta take to dmv

The Physicians Assistant at AFC Urgent Care told me that they needed a letter from my doctor saying that i'm safe to drive in a DOT Capacity. My doctor said that she doesn't do that for anyone.
I'm confused because I didn't need that the last time I had my CDL.

Yeah, this makes no sense. Your doctor doesn't give you the all clear to pass muster for DOT and drive, your medical card does, issued at the end of that DOT physical by the doc at that clinic. That's the whole reason you went.

Either the placed that did your DOT physical doesn't know what they are doing or there is something you aren't telling us about your medical history/issues.

Go somewhere else and get a new physical.
    Chiropractors can give DOT physicals.

You need to talk to someone there that knows what’s up.. not the receptionist.
Their “authorized doc/nurse” whatever passed you by all means then wants a letter from a doctor. So what’s the point of doing their checkup?

I promise. This is what happened. I was saying the exact same thing. I thought the point of the DOT Physical was to determine if i was safe to drive a commercial vehicle.
Like I said. I passed and at the end of the DOT Physical exam the PA-C asked for a letter from my doctor stating that I was safe to drive in a DOT Capacity. My doctor responded back that she doesn't do those letters for anyone.

They'll ask for a doctors note if the doctor prescribed any type of medication to you.

They now ask you to lift up your t shirt to check for scars from
surgery, the cute PA who was attending to me did, previous clinic
did not and had a different routine. Medication or surgeries might
be the reason. Just follow Chinatowns advice and go to a different
    clinic.

That's what I'm going to do. I'm just going to go somewhere else.
