Ok.. so I went to get my physical done over the weekend where my company usually sends its drivers. It’s one of those urgent care places. Anyway, since I have diabetes I was told that I have to have an eye exam done with a statement that says that I don’t have diabetic retinopathy even though I was able to pass the vision part of the exam with no problem. Has anyone else had to do this? I always thought that when it came to diabetes, they would just check your sugar and/or your A1C, and as long as those were good you were set. Is this something new?
