DOT physical renewal drug test

Like the Dr. said. No drug testing needed.
You are probably used to getting a physical at the same time as being hired. They have to do a drug test then, but you are actually getting two procedures done at that time.

Trucking companies can actually only drug test under four criteria. A random test, new hire, reasonable suspicion and some wrecks. Not saying they all follow the regs though.

I peed in all sorts of things to do the drug tests when the 1991 CDL laws disposed of the Class A and it's alcoholic way of living. Plastic, paper, metal whatever. Half tempted to have the lady cup her hands so I can put a dallop there so it can go into the test machine.

Like that will work. (It wont...) it's disgusting actually.

Used to be if you could not generate urine on demand they will bill you 60 dollars a hour detention. Unless it's winter. Kick you outside no jacket for 10 minutes and BOOM you have a ocean once you thawed out inside. HA.

you were being check for sugar in your urine. that's the usual thing they check for. i have never in my life, been drug tested at any DOT physical.....

 

Here is a stupid question. Actually so dumb I feel ashamed.

Why not stick em for that blood sugar level. It only takes a few moments, no need for that messy splashing about the Urine test.

 

The piss let’s them know if your spilling ketones. The blood test is just the blood sugar at that minute. I have diabetes. Also have the federal waver.
