    yep, I've noticed some brokers work for 2 or 3 different brokerage firms, you don't suppose they broker the load from one to the other, to the other, then to you ?

    Many brokers are independent and work at home on a percentage basis. Not unusual for them to work for many different brokerage firms.

    If you do a 1031 exchange should be no tax issues...also if you are selling from one LLc to another there shouldnt be alot of fees just some recording and filing fees and a couple hundred from the bank in closing...I just wouldnt sell it to yourself at a low amount that may catch some eyes at IRS...

    Not only that, but a company like Jones Transportation will buy a load from Jones Logistics, and pocket the difference. It's that blatant, and apparently totally legal.
