I only had Kumho on my 1,5 ton pick up's as this is what they came with.
They were okay on good roads but when we went off road they would suffer internal impact fracturing quite easily.
The Dunlops we switched to did a lot better but I must add they were bad roads and only 15" tires.
The Double Coins we used did well for us on Class 7 trucks. -
Triangle, double coin and Aeolus are popular in aus and considered the best of the Chinese tyres. I personally use Aeolus on my trucks and get just as good mileage out of them as non Chinese brands for half the price
-
Aeolus do very well here in Southern Africa as well.
One of our subcontractors switched over to them from Michelin and is very very happy. -
I have to decide on this issue soon because I need some drive tires
-
Have you ever thought about the BF Goodridge Dr 444 a lot of guys running them over this way pretty well pleased with them
-
salun, wanli, ling long, leo & double coin run good, but the steady increase in price is the cause for going to foreign made tires. i want to know is the money that u pay for major brand name tires worth it? i couldn't see paying 400-500 per tire only to get the same mileage from chinese tire.

I have been using Roadmaster tires, made in china for Cooper (Goodyear) with good results.
