Drive tires

Have not ran their drives, we had one truck that had them on steers but we sold it before too many miles. we have been having good luck with Toyos as a price(ish) tire as well as kumhos

 

I use coopers on my trailer. I get a good 50-70K out of a set depending on what kind of nastyness i drive on. Usually run michlins though.

 

Cooper got bought by goodyear in 2021, which is a shame because my last set of cooper at3's on my pickup truck outlasted the truck.
While I've not run cooper drives on a semi, I have run goodyears (on the company dime), and they were the worst wearing tire I've run.

 

I actually hated my at 3s, they were loud and threw stones everywhere

 

I loved my 33's on my 2010 Tundra DC with a 3" airbag lift. Worked great in the sand, hauling, etc. Wore great. Bought the truck with those installed at 80% and 75K miles in 2015, sold the truck in 2025 with the same tires at 40% and 112K miles. Buddy bought my truck and ran em another 5k miles and replaced because they were so old...

Coopers of yesteryear are not Coopers of today I'm afraid...

To not hijack OP's thread, I've got 100K miles on my set of Bridgestone Ecopia 713's on my semi drives, still at 14/32nd's per last months records, and I'm a tanker guy running PA and WV hills so the shoulders wear a lot. I'm super pleased. I think they were 713$ a piece in spring 2025.
