We had a local day cab with the general ameristeel d460s that were, fine? Didn’t like them or dislike them, (better than good for one years) last few sets we have just gotten better deals on Toyos which we have been pretty impressed with, my truck had 160k on the m647s when I sold it and they were still over 10/32, and my uncles Tri axle dump probably had over 100k on the last set that came off of that.

 

General RA’s 11r24.5 steers rears and wagon wheels.
Never been stuck, they wear great, lots of tread depth, and they take weight.
Only negative I can offer is they’re double the price they used to be.

 

Had to look them up because I’m ready to replace my 8 drives.

I currently have Bridgestone's with 445k miles on them. They’ve worn perfectly and still got a few months tread left. Unfortunately they’re $6k for 8 11R 24.5 installed.

Those Generals, made by Continental look decent. Online prices seem to be about $2k cheaper than Bridgestone..

I may have to change plans

I've got Ameristeel steers on this Mack I recently bought. Don't love or hate em. Haven't run them through winter yet but tons of miles in the rain.

These are steers though. No experience with their drives.

 

D460's on 2 trucks here. They wear nice & even.

 

I just put 8 General RA on my spread axle reefer. I believe I paid $465 a tire.

 

depends on which ones, I never really paid close enough attention to mpg swings until I pulled my 726s off for Toyos and gained almost a quarter mpg, they were pretty hard on fuel but they did wear like iron
