If we don't know the how, when, why and where etc... no one here can help you.
If the penalty for driving with no CDL isnt too bad (In my state you better not...) id just pay the money or if you truly did not know it's cancelled. cough up a lawyer and set him to trail your cancellation.
It's no good to proceed any further really. Your State that issued your CDL apparently pulled it.
In Arkansas your CDL WILL Be cancelled should you for example refuse to provide a Breath Test.

Ok. Did you change addresses of your home Residence recently or something like that perhaps?
You can fix this, but you cannot work with that suspended license until you do get it fixed. In fact I think that license is suspended, you cannot drive anything until that's fixed. Try to find the paperwork that the DMV demands of you to prove residency.street beater Thanks this. -

If your license is suspended, how did you get a rental?

I wasn't trying to say you were here in the US illegally. Just saying it is the driver's responsibility to make sure all documents pertaining to having a CDL are up to date. As you have seen, letting the "work" permit or whatever that form is for, lapse can cause problems. If it had an expiration date, i would make sure the proper updating was done beforehand and not depend on some supposed grace period.
Hope you get this straightened out and get back to work. -
Driving without a valid CDL is a disqualifying offense. If you are convicted, you will lose your license for a period of time, see 383.51. If your suspension was administrative, lawyers (real lawyers, not the lawyers) may be able to vacate your suspension retroactively. If you plead guilty, it will be much harder to do. Never plead guilty to any ticket besides overweight without consulting with a real attorney who specializes in truck driver defense.
