You know what's worse than an 8 hour live?................an 8 hour drop and hook.
I've been at the shipper more than 8 hours now waiting for my "pre-loaded" trailer. At first, it was just a matter of needing an extra hour to get some product on my trailer that was enroute to this location.
Then..............trailer's loaded.........waitin' on paperwork.
........waitin' on paperwork.........waitin' on paperwork............waitin' on paperwork.
........waitin' on paperwork.........waitin' on paperwork...........
Now it they're unloading the trailer so they can reload it.
Makes perfect sense to me.
Bad news: They've used up all but 1 hour of my drive time.
Good news: In 1.5 hours I'll have completed a 10 hour reset.
Bad news: I've been awake all day.
Good news: Getting paid detention pay for the delay.
The moral here...............................I got nothing. -
We had a 27 hour wait on a drop and hook. The trailer was full when we
first got there but they decided more could go on it. Next day still the same...
Later that afternoon they took some off added others and sent us away.
We also lost a great coast to coast load due to this delay.Wedge Thanks this. -

Our FM is great, it's the weekend that has problems.

Been running good...finally. Now that I've gotten used to my truck, I'm being changed to one of those tiny prostars. Now, how in the world am I supposed to fit me, my old man, microwave, fridge (when I get one), and all our stuff in there? Ugh!

I've recovered from my mega-drop and hook (put in for 9 hrs of detention pay).
I'm sitting at the Pilot in Chester, VA tonight, waiting for my repower to arrive. I'm swapping loads with another truck so I can get home by Wednesday night. The load they have delivers just south of our Ellenwood terminal so it couldn't be more perfect.
I arrived here at 1800. They're a team that's about 250 miles out, so I guess I'm putting on coffee.
I wonder if my repower is any of our TTR regulars.
Guess I'll have to ask. -
Did you see the truck yet? -
Wedge Thanks this.
