A freind of mine called me crying,he got 10 violations and tickets in a two year span and his boss is abusing him knowing he cant be hired.
My advice to him was to suck it up since he is out of options and honestly im tired of listening to the same everyday.
Is there any program or a way he can remove some of this vioaltions?

What are the violations and tickets; maybe not as bad as he thinks.
One driver on here had 12 tickets and fender benders in his car and found a real good job on Craigslist with a reefer outfit running coast to coast. -
One way would be to stop doing things that lead to citations. Time is the only fix available now.

The company failed to do equipment repairs on violations he wrote up, "That's my story & I'm stickin' to it." "I know I shouldn't have driven the truck with those violations still not repaired, but told I better or look for another job."
Seat Belt & Wrong Lane are so-so. Serious, but not career ending.
I think he's ok for some other companies.
If it were me, I'd start some applications and get a fresh start somewhere else. Do a year somewhere else, then look around some more.
I'd do some online applications before any phone calls, then wait a day or so and call and say, "I'm checking on my job application."
On job applications, I'd only list what's on his MVR.
Reason for wanting a new job; "Tired of driving equipment that isn't being repaired after write-ups."
Don't badmouth the company he's now with; just answer the questions without being judgmental.Last edited: Apr 18, 2019

Give him all this information, then when he calls you again, ask him how many applications he's submitted. Put the ball in his court.Last edited: Apr 18, 2019
zinita17601 and Lepton1 Thank this. -
Ive been told in the past, by a Lawyer, getting a case reopened is possible, but very hard to do. And expensive. Best to just cool it for a while. Whether he deserved the tickets or not, Tough lesson learned, hopefully for his sake. Been in that boat more than once. It all depends on the nature of tickets, how long he’ll have to pay the price.
JoeyJunk and zinita17601 Thank this. -
It don't take many tickets to get your cdl suspended though.
I got a warning letter from my home state for just one speed in NM. It was 17 over. -
JoeyJunk Thanks this.
