Former owner ops arent going to like the noose modern companies have on them and the lack of freedom. Big companies dont want owner ops as company drivers anyways. The job market right now is brutal. Megas and almost all decent true trucking companies aint taking no sap drivers.

He is looking at 3 years of running for a 1099 chicagoland outfit or some fly by night construction company if he's lucky.
