Anyone know if this is normal for an end dump or have an explanation? The cylinder looks like theres a gap and the bed doesn't rest on these supports. There is another half oval support that does rest but i am new to end dumping and would like to know if my trailer is safe going down the road. Thank you. [IMG]

Yes that's normal. You don't want the hoist completely bottomed out because there shouldn't be any weight on it while traveling down the road.

The tub rides on the saddle behind the arrow pointing down. The arrow pointing down is aimed at a stop to keep the fifth wheel plate from rocking up too high and breaking off the hydraulic hose connection.
