Your not the first, nor will you be the last to think it needs to be reposted. I believe a previous post was along the lines of "11 foot 8 can opener"

    mjd4277, hotrod1653 and buddyd157 Thank this.

The railroad recently raised the bridge by 8” and it wasn’t long before someone hit the new and improved version... it’s now 12’4”

Video: Another truck gets stuck under recently raised Durham bridge

I see that vid posted by the OP is the 12’4” and very recent. The website still is named 11’8”
There has been many many hits on that bridge. That yellow beam the trucks hit isn’t even part of the bridge. It was installed so the railroad didn’t need to shut down the line and inspect the bridge every time a truck hit it. There are warning signs, flashing lights if you’re oversized and it triggers a red light so you stop. All you have to do is turn and follow the clearly marked route to a safe crossing...
Lol I have lived in Durham 28 years....

I have never driven in Durham proper, but I have that bridge marked on Google just in case I ever get a delivery nearby. I'm regional now and don't plan on going back OTR, but I don't ever EVER want to be featured in one of those videos.

And by the way, those videos never get old for me lol.
