Not much info out there on Dynasys APU. I have the Gen II with the CAT engine.

If you ever get an alarm on your Dynasys indicating "Low or No Oil pressure" and the unit shuts off heres the part you will need to fix it.

About a 5 minute fix once you get the part. Pretty much plug and play. You dont need to be a mechanic to fix it... The only tool needed is an adjustable wrench. Got the part online for $30

I'm currently dealing with this, the engine won't auto start sometimes due to "low oil pressure" even though the oil was just changed, and eventually goes into "battery charge failure" after a few failed attempts to auto start . Thanks for putting this info out here.

Do you happen to know some reasons why these switches falter?

Not sure. Believe mine failed after 2 years of use, don't recall the exact number of hours on the APU.

No the oil pressure switch pictured above went bad. Ive had the same Dynsays APU since 2017. Still running good...

I'm trying to decide if I should get a dynasys or tripac. Dynasys a person with mechanical skills should be able to fix most things. Tripac sounds like codes are vague and still going to get part from dealers or blessed places only. And are limited and limited places?
Would you buy the dynasys again know what you know now? Reliable?

I use TriPac. The engine itself is pretty bullet proof and easy to PM.

It's the rest that goes teets up after awhile. And what I've learned is that after so many years when the stuff starts to fail.....just overhaul all of it, not the engine, then you're good for several years.
