    hi

i have 1500km to get home for my reset and 15 hours left on my cycle. any tips on how i can make it all the way home. im maxed out with super b's so unlikely i'll make it in 15 hours. also gonna lose 20 min on tomorrows pre trip..

someone said log out of geotab when you have like a half hour left and you know you won't make it and say the company sent someone else to take it the rest of the way. or use personal conveyance for 75km. both situations clearly you risk deep trouble if you get pulled over for some reason...

    any other tips?

    thanks

i guess dropping the trailer somewhere and doing PC home and back after my reset is the safest bet

There are no tips. ELD is just a recorder. No magic in it.
Let the company know that they may need to repower
and were is the location according to your best estimate.
Update your estimate every 5 hours.
Don't do anything illegal, unsafe or flat out stupid.
You may still have your job tomorrow.
    Good luck.

    Unforeseeable adverse weather conditions.
If you had advanced notice, you included them in your trip plan.
And reported it to your carrier, right? Right?

NO. Have you ever met an injury lawyer?
In case you get into a crash with fatalities?
He'll make hamburger meat out of you and your ELD PC records.
