With construction and everything right now which way do you go ? Last time I went from Houston (a month or so ago) east it sucked with all the construction and slowdowns, and I made horrible time

I-20 is the way imo. 98 into mobile is not bad except the last few miles really
NavigatorWife, BlueThunderr and slow.rider Thank this. -
If you can time it so that you miss traffic in Houston and Baton Rouge, take I-10 and I-12. Otherwise, do as @truckdriver31 said, but try and miss rush hour in DFW.
NavigatorWife, Trucker61016, BlueThunderr and 1 other person Thank this. -
Its only 15 miles difference running I 20. Its 1210 running I 10 the whole way and 1225 running I 10, I 20, US 49, I 59, US 98

If you take US98 from Hattiesburg Ms to Mobile, I use hwy 63 at Lucedale down to I 10 at Pascagoula. It’s a few miles further but the lights and traffic on 98 from the Al line to mobile is worth it.
63 is four lane all the way to 10.Just passing by, NavigatorWife, Dna Mach and 3 others Thank this. -
Thanks for the input guys...I ended up taking I-20...I didn't want to deal with TX/LA border(construction) and Baton Rouge in the early evening....I stayed last night at the Pilot in Pecos.
