FMCSA has extended the current ELD exemption for livestock haulers to June 18.

Can't figure out how to get the cows to market......

That means it cost nearly double to haul them then which means your steak is going to cost a heck of a lot more

Nope, labor is a small part of the cost of operating a truck and with 2 drivers that truck should move a lot more miles each day which means less trucks to do the same work, thus reducing the cost per mile to bring livestock to market.
Therefore meat prices should go down for the grocery stores.

False 90% of the cowhaulers I've met are independent or owner ops you have fun getting them to team drive their rigs are their babies

That livestock exemption is only for 150 miles out, after that you are ELD. Try and find an ELD program that handles that. It is causing more issues than solving.

Well there isn't one truck made on the road that hauls cows that's big enough for two true cow haulers to share.
