ELD services? Best product/service for the money?

But who knows which of these all listed above services are really compliant or not? If the FMCSA does not certify any of those, you can never be sure.

 

Can always contact those on the list that you have interest in and check with the manufacturers to see what they claim as compliance

 

Why not?

 

Your giving your phone to a cop... here's a reason they have to have a warrant in order to have access to your phone. You give it to them to inspect your loss, what's stopping him from going through your call loss or texts to see if you sent one or recited one during your drive time

 

I thought of that the other day. If this thing doesn't get shot down, I plan to have another phone or tablet for my elogs. Likely another phone, smaller and easier to deal with.

 

Why are people still worried about being caught texting or making calls while driving? You can buy a headset at just about any truck stop.
