Electric hook up for a lift axle solenoid control valve

    I have a dump truck with life axle I have to replace the solenoid control valve this valve send air to pickup or drop the axle the original one on there i can't find so have to get aftermarket my question is about the electric hook up can I just run a on/off toggle switch to this solenoid? I upload a picture of the solenoid

    That may work but it is not intended for trucks.

    I would give airman products a call and they can set you up with the right one and tell you where to get it at.

    Ridgeline may be correct, but what you show there looks similar to what I have. I have a manual toggle air switch outside of the cab to lift it as well. They can be temperamental when it is real cold, but other than that no problems.

    I got a different one that made for truck but the hook up is the same I just want to know if the electric hook up i am doing it right.

    That's how mine is, switched power off and axle is down, on is lifted.

    You should be able to plumb the output either way according to your preference.

    This is how my original ones look but they are $984 for just the solenoid control valve and I got 3 of them.
