You do realize we currently have a government that does not give a squat what you, me or 300 million other people think. You would have an easier time getting all logs rendered void than to get the ELD mandate blocked or delayed. They simply do not care what anyone else thinks or how it will impact anyone.

I'm not hitching my horse to this cart.

14/11 is a good day. Too much for most. So yeah, I'm cool with the direction things are headed.

Don't you have an air mile exemption?

On a technicality. I can do 16/11 once a week, short haul exemption. If RC weren't a broad based east coast company: ME, MA, PA, NC, SC, FL - we'd not even run paper, and the rules wouldn't apply to strict intra-state running.

That said, the 100 air miles... I still knock out 300 miles a day, paved & dirt.... 'Local', yes - but you go find a spring located in the middle of backwoods-nowhere 3 hours away - no highway travel.

Off paper they'd probably try to get me to do it twice and call the second one a 'back-haul'. Lol.
