Elog & truck in shop....

    Nope... cant edit drive time... period. Not even in admin.

    When editing, I have to put a comment about why it was edited or it wont save the edits. I always note that it was shop time when editing everything except drive time, which again, cant be edited.

    Anytime I drop my truck at the shop I show off duty and put in the notes "truck in shop" then when the log records the shop driving I go back and change it to off duty driving. I don't know if your log will allow it but you can try.

    Log out when you leave the truck. That's the purpose of the Log Out feature.

    That's just a pooely designed system. Perhaps not even really legal, since it's supposed to be able to give an accurate record, and things like this aren't accurate.

    Not that that's your fault.

    Qualcomm? I've had to get instances like that fixed multiple times and safer has always had to make edits. They can't remove the drive time, but they can reassign it.

    I log out when I drop my truck for service. Then my safety guy sends me an email for unrecorded miles? Something like that, I tell him shop and he does it from there.
