Given how thorough some drivers pre-trip... could be a hitchhiker.

Never seen a Hamic in South Texas back in the day but a lot of those open top trailers had boxsprings chained under for sleeping arrangements at night !

I've thought about hanging one up between the back of the sleeper and my trailer, not quite enough room though.

Don't know how many places it would be safe to do that today. Just think of august at the old Ripon T/S with the dirt lot or pantyhose junction. Everybody trying to sleep with doors/windows open, trucks coming through with air dryers popping off, big clouds of dust everywhere. The skeeters at pantyhose junction would eat you alive.

If you only use it when you’re parked you could unhook from the trailer and move the truck up a couple of feet.
