Embarrassing to all truck drivers or not....?

I take it your company runs automatics ?

 

I was thinking make some sort of blocks for my fifth wheel slider so it stops where I want it and I can slide it all the way back and have enough room.

The hammock wouldn't be a bad way to spend an afternoon on a hot day with a breeze rolling through. Better than sitting hunched over in the driver seat with a nose in a phone.

 

My boss is always joking with me that I should do this and hang it under a container chassis

 

All that is good until a big moose in northern Ontario comes and eats you while you're sleeping LOL

 

Last summer my A/C quit me while I was under a load of eggs, the dealerships I checked with to have it fixed couldnt get the parts for a week so I justed rolled with it... I spent 2 or 3 nights sleeping under my trailer (it has skirts) in a sheet I rigged into a hammock.

How long before people complain about having to move a lever/turn a dial for heat/AC instead of setting their climate control? Like asking why there is a red, yellow, and blue brake controls.
