As titled, Engel refrigerator/freezers are on sale, with free shipping (MT45 and smaller), on their website. Their website is cheaper than Amazon.

We’ve got one in the closet - 15 years old. I think $600 back then, can’t recall size.

They stand the test of time for sure - probably has 1.8 million miles on it.

I took the advice of many here and bought one. I researched all the cheaper options, but, their prices have drastically increased, yet, their quality is still terrible. When they’re asking $700 for junk, I’ll gladly pay a few hundred more and get better quality and a 3yr warranty at no extra charge.

This is one of the few products I’ve ever bought, that has lasted this long, that I would consider sending in for repair.

I thought it was a Japanese product, but might be wrong. We bought ours out of a dealer in Florida.

Dunno what that swing motor compressor is, but it works great.

We would take 5 days of salad/ refrigerated goods while teaming. 12V plug in or 120v plug.

I understand that most folks can’t afford the cash drop - but these are the solution.

I use to see guys buy ice every other day for an esky, cooler , whatever - but after 2 years, you’ve paid for it in ice and time. And better, safer temperature control.

That swing motor is a japanese model if I remember right. Guess I oughta dig thru my stuff and try and sell mine, along with a couple cb's and an amp.

$1000+ for a tiny fridge? Well, I'd get it if I had to, but my 3qf 4+ yo Hisense does the job still.

I’m absolutely blown away by this thing! Because of my work schedule and having it delivered to the remote location I work out of, I wasn’t able to get it from the shop until yesterday when I left out. I’m using the 110V side of it, plugged into my inverter. In ~5min, the interior walls of it were already ice cold, while sitting in a truck that was still hot from sitting closed up and not running. I loaded all my food into it and my thermometer showed the interior at 40°F, within 15min. It was amazing to see that.

I was caught out by heavy the thing is. I’d read the specs and reviews, but, didn’t think too much of the number. I figured people mentioning it were just Karens. Nope. It definitely a heavy thing to get thrown up into the passenger seat, moved into the bunk, and slid fore and aft as I get things out of it, while driving. I definitely won’t be moving it in and out of the truck, when I get home. The whole thing is constructed of metal, inside and out, like a refrigerator from the 50’s. It’s awesome to see that level of quality, these days.

I started driving, in 1987. I have never had an APU, until this year, and had no idea what I was missing. This refrigerator/cooler is at that same level of revelation. I’ve always had a thermoelectric cooler and had no idea what I was missing. This Engel cooler truly is next level.
