Engine Brake/Brake Lights

    For whatever reason, every time the engine brake comes on, the trailer lights come on and stay on for about 30 seconds after the throttle is applied. Trailer ABS light comes on also and shuts off when the lights go out?
    Have had the shop look into the program but, there is no code for this?
    Very frustrating!

    There is a parameter in the cab CECU the requires a laptop with ESA in it that you can disable brake light with jakes. I bet your trailer abs light comes on anytime you make a brake application as it will power up the abs ecu, usually does this because there is no power on the center pin of the trailer cord.

    Trailer auxiliary button powers abs on some trucks . My current one and a few former ones would show temporary abs light unless switch powered it up . Kwcam is on right path.
