I doubt that it would show up since it has been so long ago. Most records are only kept for about 7 years unless there were criminal charges involved.

    #### it... two more candidates this week - DQ after pulling MVR. I hate when they lie to my face. I'm going to start charging applicants - $100 refundable deposit if you want to apply - if you get the job I'll give $200 back. If you don't get the job because you "forgot" that you had 3 moving violations in the last 6 months...I keep your money.

Require that applicants submit a copy of their MVR when applying.

That's a good idea. For the ones who don't it shows they don't care enough to get the job.

Hi everyone! I'm a 38 year old female, 5'6", 113lbs. I love being on the road. I started delivering pizza for 8 years and then I got a job with Schwan's in 2004 which I had to obtain a cdl b for and pass a physical that the doc said plenty of men didn't pass... Of course after that they lowered the standards....
Anyway, things aren't so hot here at home and quite frankly I'll probably be divorced after I can afford to get my name off of this house and I've always thought I'd like to drive a truck for a living.
The job I'm in right now is only part time and I drive a little but I'm bringing home about $100 a week on average.... Terrible...
I want to take the 8 week course at my local school for about $2500 and get my cdl to drive. Am I crazy? Is it as dangerous as I am reading? I'm a tomboy, guess I always will be and I'm hard headed but I can learn anything you teach me and I want to make some money for my efforts. I've never been at fault for an accident and time away shouldn't be more of a problem than being here is...
Do you think I can make it?

    jengis and landshark80 Thank this.

As long as you are willing to work hard, have a clean mvr and csa, you should be fine.
