I have a buddy paying almost $1100 a month for a 2017 Grand Sport LOL. Even if I got the car it wouldn't put pressure on my work habits.

Hi everyone who reach this post, last Monday oct-14 applied, today (Oct-15) got a call from recruitment, already acknowledged my MVR authorization and release, next Tuesday I’ll be sitting with the frontal interviewer for OTR regional with Estes on 060 terminal, I’ll seem too rushed for questions since my hands haven’t reach any Estes truck steer-wheel, but whatever happen, this thread has the blame on it (joking). It took me the weekend reading all yours ups and downs and looking for an escape plan from my current Intermodal job and you all chanting your experience here gave me the green light to apply, that being said, Question is. The slow season apply the same for Estes LTL in every region?
Midwest is where I’m sitting right now....I has applied for they pay rate, distance home-terminal, and the experience on LTL hoping the cpm/miles at least can hold me even with less miles than the promised by recruitment (starting at 0.61cpm/2000-3000mi/week) this amount can be used most of time as a hook but I know too it’s possible and all depends on the individual performance with the other factors willing to work (weather, dispatch, maintenance, God and even Lucifer). Q2. There is something that I should avoid in order to get where -IMO- every driver want and that is “decent miles per week”? Any of you guys with personal experiences that can be useful at this point or I should keep quiet until I got the approval hand-shake LOL. Thanks in advance

I wouldn’t want to pay that much as a mortgage.

No. I think that was only on the higher trim levels. Mine’s only a Tradesman.

You could only get a regular cab and manual transmission in the lower trim levels too, IIRC.
