Ok. Thanks for answering. This is why I asked so I don't go looking like an idiot all dressed up if doing so would make me look out of place. I'll just wear my (clean and non stained/non faded) blue jeans, a plain fitted t-shirt and my tennis shoes.

Is there anyone here who can answer whether your road test & pre trip test was done on the same day as your interview or does that come at a later date after the background checks?

Nobody has commented on this question yet. Would be nice to know what to expect tomorrow if it's just going to be an interview or interview + pre trip + road test.

 

After my interview on a Thursday. He had 2 others to Interview. I got call back Monday they wanted me to start.

They were busy. So when I started on a Monday night riding with a guy I didn't road test till Friday morning. So I rode all week didn't even get to drive

 

Oh. So at Estes the road test is AFTER you finish training?

That seems backwards. I would've thought they would do the road tests BEFORE you started training and BEFORE you officially started the job.

 

Is there any reason you didn't drive with your trainer? Is that standard for the trainee not to drive at all during the training period? Not even just a little bit?

 

Trainer for what? I pulled doubles prior. He just showed me paperwork. I rode 5 days then went out on the board following Monday
