He does grocery? They're probably very similar is that Gas City? What kind of issues, not pulling down to temp so he couldn't gate out ASAP? Or a flat tire or something? He's on the clock the whole time for all of that so what's the big deal? That's normal stuff. Grocery does have some waiting ever once in a while but ain't nobody sitting around at any Walmart DC off the clock for 7, 8,9, 10 hours or whenever, not even grocery. GM most certainly not. Most of the time things get out the door fairly quick. Around holidays things can get backed up. I have about 10+/- hours of wait time every week spaced out at different times but that's just a part of my paycheck on the set run. Most of the drivers here don't have anywhere near that much.

 

His issues were waiting on the trailer to be loaded on time which were keeping him from getting his deliveries off on schedule then getting back to get a 2nd load or a next day. The equipment issues were everything from trailers to tractors. He busted his tail pushing his 14 hour clock most every day to maximize his pay.

 

Yea i been to McCook before when I ran an extra day I hate going there lol. I just hope I get some good miles for these 4 days. I was planning on running today but did a last min getaway and then Saturday I gotta be home for a delivery. So hopefully these 4 days they can make some magic happen lol.

 

I went to the Brooklyn terminal the other day that was ah experience to lol. Idk which is worse but luckily I didn't have to drop and they had a set of empties strung. Theres barely any room to do anything there. Im glad I actually pay attention tho because they never latched the pintle hook.
