Put in an app and the "check" on it by visiting. it will help you decide if you want to work there. LTL is a good job; if there are lots of openings or a persistent opening there might be an issue with that barn.

You looking for linehaul or city? I work at Estes in Indianapolis, but pay and everything is going to be the same. I can answer any questions you got. Nashville would a great terminal to work out of since it's very large. Plenty of runs all times of the day. A lot better than some of these 10 door terminals we have.

I'm curious about pay and start times. I'm open to either position but I'd prefer city.

Starting pay is probably around 22.50. Start times vary from terminal to terminal. I would say somewhere between 12 and 2pm.

I can't give exact numbers, but pay in the city will probably start around $22.50/hr like Rodman said and top out around $27 or so an hour after 3 years. We've gotten an .85/hr raise in Jan the past 3 years. Start times at my terminal are anywhere between 5 or 6 am to noon.

Linehaul starts at .57/mi and tops at .66/mi. We've gotten a .02/mi raise the past 3 Januarys. Start times for linehaul out of my terminal start at 1800-1000 the next morning. Nashville should be about the same being a big terminal. but starting out, you'll be on the extra board. You'll average between 2750-3000 miles a week.

Nashville terminal is huge. That is 037. There are plenty of runs out of there. I don't recommend City because it's just way too hectic and the work is just too much for my taste.

Estes drivers, I’m curious to find out how often or if I have to stay in bunk houses, I have read a few posts about them. Im looking at Smyrna (Nashville) terminal and running on extra board. My friend works out of Denver and never even heard of bunk houses, and of course never stays in one. I of course will ask when I interview but never trust a company to be completely honest.
