Shoulda, woulda, coulda, life's too short, and there's definitely a lot more important things to think about, like family. No regrets, and every job I've ever had(and I've had more than I'd like to remember) has been a learning experience, now I actually have more skills than I need, lol.
Brettj3876, Opus and Upinsmoke Thank this. -
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course
Each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this
I did it my wayRuthless, Deere hunter, Dennixx and 4 others Thank this. -

Some went broke, some closed or some got bought out / acquired.
Only 2 remain 45yrs later -
When deregulation came in and the big outfits...CF, PIE, Delta, System 99...all began to fold it was the handwriting on the wall.
Back on topic. I've never been sorry about quitting a job but I've been sorry it took me so long to make up my mind. -

Toss the keys on the dispatch counter, tell the boss goodby and get on with your life. -
Nobody should ever regret quitting a job. Your only regret should be quitting before you have a contingency plan. I've quit 3 jobs in my 40 years of being an adult, and all three were trucking companies in the last 3 years. Now I'm my own boss again, and I don't plan on quitting this gig.
bzinger Thanks this. -
The only thing I regret is missing the people you get to know out on the road, the job, it just is not worth it.
