Midnight. Have to reverse into a shed to get to the lift. No lights at all in the outcrop shed. No lights on the dock either. This is my only issue with LTL. When you deliver into these sketchy places that use old trucks as a fence.

Why don't you install some nice bright led lights out on edge of cab somewhere?

When i did pull a van type trailer and had dark holes to back in at night, i would attch a bright wide beam flashlight to the icc with a bungie. It wasnt perfect, but better than nothing.

Yep. Even a couple cheap flashlights work great.

Oh. I like these ideas. I thought about some bright LED reverse lights but it'd probably be better to put them on the mirror.

i know the feeling. i have 5 stops each night. it is rare, but it happens when everyplace i go to, there is a black out. trying to back into the dock area in dark at my 2 downtown Boston stops, is an adventure. then all my other stops as well. of course too, Boston no matter what, seems to have a lot of people walking on by, with street lights on or off.

then comes the buildings themselves...all dark inside, my flashlight is totally useless, as i have to maneuver a powered pallet jack. and if the said power is off, i cannot use the power loading dock plate, i have to search, for a portable one...

Same dock during daylight with the sun in your mirrors may be harder believe it or not

Sun in your mirrors and a bunch of pallets and wheel chocks carelessly thrown about.
