Ya. Not sure your area but we have a company up here that will shorten it lengthen tanks and it's cheaper than buying new. Depending on the year if your truck check under your tank straps for corrosion. Mine started leaking 3 years in. Had strip welded over them both so at the straps they were thicker.

Where are you located?, have not problem going anywhere, i take loads anywhere anyway.
My truck is a Volvo 780 2011, just replaced the D13 engine few weeks ago with a N14 Celect Plus.

Wow, drink a corona on my health, i am home in Naples, FL right now, close to 92 degrees outside (33 celsius) hot and humid, AC and bud light helps a little.
Anyway, not planning to go to Nova Scotia any time soon, been a while since i have been in Canada.

If your objective is to save money on fuel, your thinking of adding capacity to buy the cheapest pump price fuel is flawed.

Instead of asking questions about adding a tank to your trailer (a dumb idea in my opinion regardless of reason), try learning about the actual net price of fuel.

I do have a pretty good idea what fuel prices are in every state, that's why i am trying to fuel in cheap places, but been sometimes 300 miles from a cheap pump and having only 40 gallons left of diesel, doesn't help much of getting there to fuel.

Love Naples. You should be able to find somebody in your area to do the tank work if you choose.

Do you understand how IFTA works? Do you understand net fuel price? Do you do your own fuel reports?
