Failed Roadtest 2nd Time. Now Confused about 4 Way Stop Sign

To the best of my knowledge you are correct. First to the intersection is the first to go. If it is a tie, you yield the right of way to the vehicle on your right, just as a vehicle on your left should yield to you.

Think you got jipped by somebody that has an ax to grind.

 

If you arrive at the same time, you yield to the vehicle on the right. If you are there first you have the right of way.

You were right and the instructor was wrong to fail you. You were kind enough to allow the other vehicle to proceed, but they waved you on since you were first.

You have it right.

 

Well I just read the entire ADOT CDL manual on intersections, and grading / scoring during road test, and no where is this addressed in the manual.

But like I said, you got stuck with somebody with an ax to grind for whatever reason. I feel your pain. We all have to deal with people like that in our lives usually at a hurdle point like your at. Just pass next time.

Once you have your CDL in hand go back and ask her where it says in the book the rule you broke that caused you to fail the second time.

Sounds like you got robbed on the second attempt. Don't let it get you down. Third time is the charm, right?

 

Would of challenged the results. Show me where in the book it says that. Just because there an instructor doesn't make them right. Don't take that kind of incompetence. STAND UP FOR YOURSELF! When you get into the business, people will try and run over the top of you.

 

4 way. Man on right has right of way. SIT AND STAY until the SOB moves. Waving does nothing. It confers no lawful command to make you move.

Some people will never get 4 ways. Even in a car. So, Sit and stay. Wait. They will move.

 

Dont give you they got you on 4 way but you was right i myself let the other car go first just because of confusing but you did right good luck
