Fair Pay for NJ to OH back to NJ

    That's a money maker for sure 350 miles round trip for 1100. Tell him to hang onto that for dear life!

    Tolls from carlisle to new stanton is $113.maybe add $250 for the round trip.
    Keep in mind an o/o with his own digits can get that $1700 going into nj from oh.

    Yea the 1100 my dad gets from Binghamton to jersey city isn't some golden unicorn its a little above avg in the market here

    Like someone else said above, plenty of loads out of the Ohio area going to Jersey area for the $1750 you're quoting for both ways. That said, those loads are not on YOUR trailer. So, maybe that's not all that bad. Have always used my own trailer and never calced what it cost to run power only.

    I wouldn't do it for less than $2500 a rd, and that's cutting it close.

    Unloading and reloading every day, heavy traffic, hilly terrain, and having to smell Jersey on a regular basis....

    Not for $1.74 a mi.

    Are you signed on with a company or on your own?
    I can see that grabbing loads from brokers on your own, but with a company who has contracted rates with shippers I don't think that's possible.
