So my question is can a carrier enter or submit false info such as having a valid event but submitting wrong driver? In a nutshell a Carrier my kid worked for was peripherally involved in a fatal accident in Georgia of April of last year. Kids psp gets pulled and the event he WAS NOT anyway involved in is listed as driver being involved. Kid was in Corbin Kentucky the day this accident occurred. Everything else on his PSP is accurate. He left the carrier with a proper two week notice but they were upset with him as he would not falsify logs and overlook equipment problems the way other drivers were expected too and did. We’ve requested the report listed on the psp but we’re told it’ll be 7-10 business days. So we’ll DataQ it once we see report but still has me concerned as to how his name got associated with that accident

The carrier can’t put anything on the PSP. That’s only inspection and accident info.

Are you perhaps confusing PSP with DAC/Hire Right?

    • Confirm that this information is on a FMCSA Pre-Employment Screening report, and not from some third party outfit.
    • Confirm that the person on the report is your son - John Q. Smith vs. John H. Smith ( license number should be on the report)
    • Have your son get a copy of his log for the day of the accident

It sounds more like DAC or insurance info than the govt PSP report.

Kid WAS NOT involved. Their other truck and driver was pushed to right shoulder by other semis trying to evade the carnage. No impact marks to driver side, they’re driver was forced to right shoulder and bent steps on guardrails

Kid wasn’t in 200 miles of the accident when it happened
