So whoever wrote the notice for the employees of the trucking company is obviously quitting to run for president. That was a word salad.

Looks like the company was hit with a rash of bad luck. The owner went through numerous surgeries in 2023, the company received a bad batch of Peterbilts which broke down across the country(bad injectors),which resulted in downtime, delayed deliveries and of course owing PACCAR money (they’re one of the creditors). The owner signed receivership over to management which sold company equipment and pocketed the money without him knowing(embezzlement) and the company is dealing with a lawsuit from a railroad in Louisiana after one of its trucks was involved in a collision with a train that was hauling hazmat. All of these factors have created a “perfect storm” in which the company could be buried. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!!

Little more to it than that, story makes it sound like it was just bad things happened. Know far too many that are/were there.

Again, the article lays blame on things that had nothing to do with it. RR claim is the only real thing.

Self Trucking is hiring! Drive for self!

Start your successful career driving for self today! Requirements are one truck, one trailer, one authority, more common sense than a Walmart greeter.

Opportunities are infinite, or exactly what you make of them.

Benefits include freedom, choice, agency, opportunity for personal growth, enlightenment, peace, quiet and lots more money than any trucking company.

Anyone can drive for Self! I don't have much sense at all, I've been told, and I've been driving for self for years making about 3 times what I did at my last company.

Self never goes out of business, declares bankruptcy, backruptsy or any other ruptsy if you have a pulse and half a brain. I worked about 150 days for Self last year and made a very nice living.

Actually these are mitigating factors in the company’s bad fortunes. Or as a lot of people like to say here-“There’s more to the story!” It isn’t just one issue that is bringing the company down.
$50,000 dollars in assets but $10 million dollars in liabilities definitely isn’t a sign of good financial health for any company.
