Fastenal... My New Home

Hello everyone. Well I’ve been with Fastenal for about 7 months now and I absolutely love it. I was on a route that got me home daily and yes it is driver loud and unload but it’s not hard work. It’s pretty much using a pallet jack to offload at our stores and a couple of steel rods you have to take off by hand but other than that it’s the best trucking job here in Central Florida. I would work Wednesday thru Friday and Sundays and off Sat Mon and Tues. can’t complain about that schedule. But now I’m back OTR on the 3PL side of our company and love it. Average about 2,500-3,000 miles a week and out ten days home for four. If anybody in the central Florida area or surrounding cities would like more info I have no problem answering all questions about this company. It’s a good place to start and actually make a career. I plan on retiring with these guys. I literally stopped looking at other companies because they care about their drivers here and you are a person not a number. There isn’t much info about Fastenal which is good thing. Those pictures are kind of old lol. Haven’t seen one of those in a long time lol. But here is a picture of my truck.

 

I use to haul their products but I got tired of unloading the trucks. So now I do 3PL (third party logistics) with them and haul other people’s freight no touch live load and live unload. We pick freight off the load board from DAT load boards. With me doing live load and live unload I did about 5000 miles in 10 days. Not bad I think.
